BRIT Awards 2013 Hairstyles
The glitterati of British and International music gathered at London’s O2 arena to award the legends of the UK and international music scene. The best part of the evening by far has got to be the red carpet arrivals. Here are some of our favourite BRIT Awards 2013 hairstyles.
Long Hair at the BRIT Awards 2013
Jessie J’s BRIT Awards 2013 hair colour was very dark – raven coloured infact and her hairstyle rather long. It looks to us like she has grown out her signature fringe and we loved her daring centre parting to go with her daring low neckline.
Rebecca Ferguson’s 2013 BRIT Awards hairstyle was achieved using hair extensions, or taking a closer look at her hairline, a hair piece placed towards the back of the crown. With her long ends curled in big bouncy curls, she looked every inch the musical starlet with this BRIT Awards hairstyle.
It may be known as the BRIT awards but that doesn’t stop us kind English, Scottish, Northern Irish and Welsh folk allowing our cousins from across the pond to come out to play too. American superstar Taylor Swift looked sensational on the 2013 BRIT awards red carpet. Her long blonde highlighted Brit Awards 2013 hairstyle was sure to show ex Harry Styles just what he was missing! After all, they’re never… ever… ever… ever… getting back together!
Updos at the 2013 BRITs Hairstyles
Pussycat Dolls’ Ashley Roberts showcased a top knot hairstyle complete with braided fringe for her BRIT Awards red carpet hairstyle. This simple easy updo BRIT Awards hairstyle would look good on anyone and is so easy to recreate.
Emeli Sande’s shaved hair has been kept long on top to help her achieve her towering BRIT Awards 2013 hair style. This sophisticated short updo hairstyle in her white blonde colour really sets Emeli apart. It’s dramatic, and really helps to bring out her features. Her hair colour matches her dazzling teeth!
A contrast to her recent BAFTAs hairstyle, Paloma Faith’s BRIT Awards hairstyle was still an updo, piled high but this time her ginger and blonde hair has been set in very very tight curls for her BRIT Awards hairstyle 2013. It’s almost poodle like!
Hair Colour at the BRIT Awards 2013
Stooshe (the TLC tribute act who screamed their way through that Black Heart song) displayed a trio of hair colours with their BRIT Awards 2013 hairstyles. From dark plum hair colour to dark browns and then to white blonde the Stooshe ladies hair colour sadly didn’t detract from those awful shoes on the middle one. Looks like she raided Emma Bunton’s charity bags and nicked her spice girl shoes for her outfit on the BRIT Awards 2013 Red Carpet.
Delilah proved that Ombre hair colour trend is still well and truly kicking with her BRIT Awards 2013 hair style.
Tom Odell showed us that the Ombre hair trend isn’t just for girls! Here he is with his Hanson-esque BRIT Awards man-do complete with sunkissed coloured ends.
Honouring Amy Winehouse at the 2013 BRIT Awards
She was most definitely the Queen of the Beehive Hairstyle and like her or loathe her, the late Amy Winehouse made a splash when it came to hair trends. Amy’s iconic look encouraged a legion of ladies to follow her hairstyle so it seems only fitting to mention her too. She was posthumously nominated in the Best Female category at the 2013 BRIT Awards. Her parents Mitch and Janice were there to collect her award, with Dad wearing a bespoke printed waistcoat of Amy’s image. A touching tribute.
